Happy Monday, friends! I am so excited because it is officially just one week until my birthday! I know I’m probably too old to feel this way, but I love my birthday and get so excited for it every year. When I was little, I would actually start planning my next birthday immediately after my birthday party that year…it was a little over the top, but that’s who I am!
To kick off my birthday celebrations this year, I’ve created a birthday dreams wish list and decided to giveaway one of my favorite items on the list to one of my lucky followers…a Hill House bath robe! It is feeling like fall here in Austin, y’all and I am here for it!! This was my first summer in Austin and I was shocked at how hot/unbearable it was! So of course when I got a whiff of this 65 degree weather, I jumped on my chance to try out some of my new fall clothes!
I recently picked up this plaid green dress by Sister Jane and am so in love with it! The fabric is a bit heavier than I expected, but it is beautiful in person and really well made! I’ve paired it here with a pair of old Zara boots that have since sold out, but I’ve linked a similar pair here, and my grey Celine Belt Bag. If boots are too heavy for the climate you’re in right now, I would suggest wearing this dress with tan ballet flats or even slide sandals.
If you’re looking for a for a casual fall uniform, look no further than this combo! I’m a sucker for anything green so this Cupcakes and Cashmere Sweater speaks to me on so many levels! Happy Friday from the mountains! I have had the best week exploring Montana and Utah and I’m not quite ready to go home. All though temperatures have been unusually high this week, the mornings are COLD!! This adorable tie dye sweatsuit from Amazon has been keeping me warm and cozy, not to mention cute!
I stocked up on my favorite scent this week from Jo Malone…Earl Grey and Cucumber! I wear this perfume every day and I love it because it is light and makes you smell like a spa! I also recently purchased a headband organizer from Amazon and I’m loving it! It has cleared up so much space on my dresser and I can actually see which headbands I have!

I was browsing online the other night and I think I’ve created my dream summer outfit! Times have been tough and I’ve noticed people are giving more gifts than usual to cheer friends and loved ones up. If you’re looking to do something like that and needing some inspiration, these are a few of my favorite gifts lately. I just randomly found the Bliss Jelly Glow Peel the other day at Target and I don’t normally experiment with drugstore skin care, but I caved in…I just love all things pink… and I’m so glad I gave this a shot! At $10, this peel has not irritated my face, but rather has truly made it glow! It is so easy to use too. You just rub it on in a circular motion after you wash your face and it takes away all of your dead skin–it is fabulous and I’m sure you and your friends will love it! Candles are also a great gift option, who doesn’t love candles?! The Fornasetti Candles are a little pricey, but smell great and really make a statement. I also just LOVE these lemon cocktail napkins…get a set of these, a nice bottle of vodka and a sparkling French lemonade and you’ve got yourself a beautiful and summery hostess gift!
