THANKSGIVING DAY OUTFIT INSPO

BRIT’S THANKSGIVING DAY OUTFIT INSPO

Can you all believe Thanksgiving is this week?! I can’t quite wrap my mind around it, but it’s here so I’ve started my outfit planning. As most of you know, our pup Charlie fractured his leg last week and had to have surgery so I’ve decided to stay in Texas for Thanksgiving rather than traveling with him to see my family. I’m so bummed I won’t get to see them, but I think we will have a fun little holiday at home! WEDDING GUEST DRESSES

Because this year has been so crazy, I feel like there aren’t any rules when it comes to holiday dressing. Some people are celebrating virtually or having micro celebrations in person. Depending on what your Thanksgiving crew is like, you might be keeping it casual this year, dressing up or something in between.

I’m guessing for most of us that comfort is key this year. I plan on wearing this outfit for the first part of the day while I’m prepping dinner and the house. I recently bought this amazing tie dye sweatshirt from Pilot and Powell in New Orleans and am totally obsessed with it! I’m pairing it with my favorite cropped Frame jeans and tan mules for an effortless, comfortable look.

Festive

I think we all know this by now, but this Sister Jane dress is my favorite dress I’ve bought this fall and I plan to wear it for dinner on Thanksgiving day. It is currently on sale so hurry up and grab yourself one! I love the plaid and green for Thanksgiving because it makes me feel festive and homey. I love pairing this dress with cowgirl boots to get some modern prairie vibes.

If you’re in a warmish climate like me and want to be dressy and comfortable, look no further than this ADORABLE kitten dress from Ganni! I also picked up this dress at Pilot and Powell and know that it will be something I wear on repeat. I’m wearing it here with a tan waist belt and tan slides for and effortlessly chic look.

If you are getting dressed up this Thanksgiving, I would suggest keeping things classic. One of my go-to classic looks for the holidays is throwing on my leather leggings, an oversized white button down, black Manolos and adding a hair bow for good measure. This look is so timeless and will be sure to wow the family and look great in photos!

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year?! Leave me a comment and let me know!

XO,

Brit
